Bottom plate leakage

Solution: Open a manhole side window of about one person's shoulder width (diameter φ400) on the side of the tank, enter the tank to find the leak point, and reinforce the leak point and the entire bottom of the tank, the inner wall of the tank bottom upward within 1 meter of the all-around cladding for repair. After completion, fill with water and test for 48 hours without leakage to solve.

 

Flange Leakage

Flange leakage is generally caused mostly by defects in the production of the flange, as shown in Figure 3, the flange was found to be leaking drop by drop to the lower exterior.

Solution: The leaking flange will be cut and replaced, bearing in mind that when replacing the internal and external flange body and tank are required to wrap, and internal wrapping is completed to leave the tank inside the mouth to avoid blocking the flow of liquid.

 

Side window manhole bolt drip

If the tank comes with a side manhole, after finding the side manhole bolt dripping, you need to consider two problems: first, whether the bolt is not tightened or the gasket is damaged; second, whether the manhole flange has cracks.

Solution: Replace the gasket for the tightened bolt. If the problem is not found to be solved, remove the blind plate and find that the flange is cracked, the flange should be cut down and re-wrapped, and replaced.

It is recommended that every two or three years the outer surface of the tank should be painted or resin to prevent aging and extend service life.

4. FRP tank maintenance can not be loaded at will on the top of the tank but is also not allowed to apply external force on the receiver.

5. FRP tanks outside climbing ladders, cages, guardrails before climbing should be carefully checked whether safe and reliable, there is an abnormal situation is strictly prohibited to climb the use.
