Installation Instructions for FRP Tank(1)

FRP Tank Suppliers will share this article with you.

1.Sand mat

Spread a layer of building sand on the concrete foundation, (sand should be screened, rice sand should be used), sand should not contain more than 5mm of the gravel sand layer should be thick and thin in the center, about 15mm in the middle, about 5mm in the periphery, uniform transition. The maximum cushion is not more than 20mm, and all parts of the bottom of the container should be in contact with the sand layer. In order to ensure that the transition is uniform and flat, the side of the plate can be scraped, a 15mm nail is nailed at the end of the plate, and a 5mm nail is nailed at the other end, and then the center of the foundation is the center of the circle, and the radius of the tank is the radius of the circle.

2.Fall tank

According to the lifting requirements, the container should be carefully placed on the sand layer, and the hook should not be removed first after the tank is dropped, so that the container can be lifted repeatedly before the sand.

3.Processing

From the manhole into the container, by stepping and percussion method to check whether the various parts of the pad sign, remember the inconsistent parts, and predict the container bottom and sand layer gap size, the container will be lifted again, level off the sand layer, so repeatedly, until the requirements are met.

4.Pour anchor bolts

For containers with anchor bolts, install anchor bolts on empty containers, water fixed anchor bolts, and water slurry should be level with the foundation.

Nuts cannot be tightened to prevent anchor bolts from being stressed when full water test is done later

For the container with anchor bolts, if the anchor ring is detachable, a layer of 4mm ~6mm thick rubber plate should be padded between the container wall and the anchor. It should be ensured that the anchor ring is completely consistent with the rubber plate and the rubber plate and the container wall.

5.Make sand retaining groove

In order to prevent the fine sand around the bottom of the container from being washed away by rain or overflow, the sand retaining groove should be built or poured according to the requirements. After the groove solidifies, and the container is full of water and tested for leakage, the groove is filled with fine sand and rammed, and the upper mouth of the sand retaining groove is closed by pouring with asphalt or asphalt mortar to prevent the water and sand loss in the groove.

6.Water filling test

6.1 During the whole process of water filling and drainage, the vent hole above the container should be opened to prevent accidental pressure or negative pressure pumping of the container.

6.2 The drain valve, manhole and flange are installed on the blind plate, and the water pump is used to fill the container. In the process of filling the water, the noise of choking may be emitted, which is a normal phenomenon, as long as the FRP tank is not damaged in transportation and does not affect the safety of use.
